Chapter 4:

Readers POV~
---------------------

It's been a month since Arthur saved you from the crewman known as Black Heart. Soon after, you started to fall into a daily routine. Wake up eat breakfast with crew, train with the captain, eat lunch, help on the ship, eat dinner, gamble with the crewmen until late, and sleep in your cot next to your master.  Things slowly became normal to you. After a few weeks you started to show your personality to the crewmen, and they grew to like you. You still were hesitant to be to open with your master because the rules that had been burned into still are there; however slowly you and Arthur are becoming closer.

You are scrubbing the deck when unexpectedly you hear,

"ARRRRG! You scally wags! Everyone on the top deck!"

You put down the map and move to the center of the deck where Captain Kirkland is standing.

"Master, what's going on?"

He looks at you and smiled.

"Just wait a minute ____ you will find out soon."

That smile made your belly flop. You've seen that smile before, and it was always a bad sign....

"Okay crewmen! It's been over a month since our last raid. So tonight we steal some gold!"

Cheers erupt from the crewmen.

"It's not just any ship. Oh no, it's my archrival Conquistador Antonio! We will burn his ship to the deeps of the sea! And get our revenge from his late raid! AYE?!"

"AYE!"

Arthur gets a huge smile on his face.

"That's not all men. I have trained and decided that my slave _____ is ready to go on her first raid! So here are my orders! If you see her in trouble immediately help her out, now do NOT do all the fighting for her. Just keep a look out for her. We all remember our first raids right? It was always the hardest. Now iron arms! I left a detailed plan of the raid with you go over it with the crewmen and prepare! That is all men until tonight!"
All the crewmen excitedly head down to the second deck to go over the plans. You anxiously go over to Arthur.

"Master....are you sure I'm ready?"

He gently lifts your head up with his right hand and stares deeply into your _______(color) eyes.

"_______You learn fast. You've become a great swordsman. I would not risk you if I didn't think you were ready. We are going beat the bloody hell out of that conquistador!"

You laugh out of happiness and nervousness.

"Okay Master! I'm ready!"

*Time Skip*

It's around midnight and the crew has tracked Antonio's ship down. You with your sword in hand, crewmen to the left, and the Captain to your right are waiting for the signal. Your hands are sweating with nerves.

"Twenty seconds and we strike", the captain informs the crew.

"Master," you turn to look the blond pirate in the eyes, "I'm ready to follow every order. I promise you as your slave it is my duty, and I promise I will protect you with my life."

You put your sword in front of you and get on your knees as a sign of your loyalty and submission.

You feel a hand on your shoulder.

"Raise my faithful slave. I except your promise."

You stand up just in time to see a smile full of joy on Arthur's face.

"Lets Get em men!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

We all charge onto the Spaniards ship. There's pirates swinging on ropes, and soon swords start to clash. You quickly start fighting. You're sword fighting skills are better than you expected, and soon you are wounding everyone you fight. The battle thickens as blood splatters everywhere. Crewmen from both ships lie on the ground wounded. You see Iron Arms fighting two conquistadors at once.  Out of nowhere an enemy attacks you. You just barely hold your sword up in time to stop the blow.

"ARRRRRG! You damn Pirates! Where are you Arthur! I'm going to cut you in half!"

All of a sudden, an angry conquistador wearing a long red and yellow coat, with brunette hair, and green eyes comes up from the quarters below deck.

"You bloody conquistador. I got you by surprise this time. I will get my revenge!"

Captain Arthur walks up toward Antonio. His red and blue coat is covered in blood. Even his feather in his hat has blood splatters.

"Hahahahaah. Don't make me laugh Arthur you can never beat me."

Arthur smiles confidently, "Lets test that theory. You pig lily Spanish land lover!"

Arthur rushes Antonio. Everyone on deck stops for a second just to watch them fight. They are both excellent swordsmen, and their blows are fantastic. They move so much it's hard to see them! They are equally matched. Finally, everyone is out of the daze, and we start fighting each other again. You don't know how long it had been, when suddenly Arthur fell from the mask onto the middle of the deck! He hits the ground hard, and Antonio is right behind him falling sword down. Arthur rolls away at the last second, and picks up his sword. Both of them are sweaty, bloody, and tired. Antonio swings at Arthur scratching his arm. Arthur ducks and trips Antonio. Antonio falls hard on the ground and is knocked out.

Captain Arthur yells for everyone to hear, "VICTORY! You land lovers will never beat REAL Pirates! Revenge is sweet Antonio!"

The whole crew included the Captain starts laughing a yelling in victory. You join in feeling the joys if your first victory in a raid. While everyone was distracted cheering, you saw Antonio shake his head and slowly get up. You look at the Captain. Arthur had his back turned away from Antonio cheering toward his men. In slip second you saw Antonio lunge at the unsuspecting pirate.

"Noooooooo!!!!!!" You scream as your body moves on its own. You step in from of the captain. You watch as Antonio's sword goes through your stomach. Blood automatically gushes from the wound, and you start coughing up more blood. Arthur turns around shocked at what he sees.

Antonio mumbles, "I meant to stab Arthur, not his wench." Antonio quickly pulls his sword out and backs away.

"________!!!!!" You hear the Captain scream, "Everyone back to the ship!" Because of the loss of blood or from the shock everything starts to blur and seem in fast-forward. Everyone rushes back to the ship swinging across on ropes. Arthur picks you up in his arms and carries you to the edge of the ship.

He turns around and looks Antonio in the eye, "I will not forget this! Antonio!"

All of a sudden you are flying across raging waters in the arms of your master. It seems like time stopped at that moment, and you will never forget it. Both of you land on the deck, and he quickly sets you down. The entire crew is around you. You know they are talking, but you can't make out what they are saying. You look up at Arthur's shocked and worried eyes.

You give a little smile and stare into his green eyes as you say, "See master, I kept my promise." And then everything goes black.
