Chapter 1:

Pirate!England POV~

Captain Kirkland and his crew just lands on the island to resupply. As he and his first mate are heading to the market. The captain is going through the list of items he needs to get.

I need more corn, flour, ropes, chains, and I could also use a new sword, he thinks.  

The market is full of vendors. They yell out great deal on this and a bargain on that.

"Here, go and get the rations I have on that list. Meet me back at the ship at two o'clock sharp. There will be consequences if you are late," Captain Kirkland orders him first mate and gives him a list of food items.

"Yes, Captain," The first mate responds as he takes the piece of paper and heads toward the food carts.

Captain Kirkland goes over to the weapons shop, but doesn't find anything up to his high standards. He leaves the shop at one thirty and starts heading back to the ship, when he sees a slave auction. A strong man is being auctioned off right now. Hmmm…He would be a good worker, the Captain thinks as the winning bid just one the strong slave. Huh, I'll come back later. He thinks, there are tons of strong slaves I can buy. Then a slave with _____hair and _____ eyes is walked out in handcuffs and chains.  He has seen many other female slaves that are much prettier than her, but…as he looks closer, he notices that she has scars all over her body.

Hmmmm, Looks like she's been owned before, he thinks.

"I'll start the bidding at ten pounds, anyone ten pounds?" the announcer yells out to the crowd.

"A hundred pounds," the Captain yells without thinking.

Shit! He mentally scolds himself I don't want her!.... So why the hell did I bid on her!?

"A hundred pounds! Can I get a hundred and twenty?" There is a slight pause as people in the crowd look around, to see if anyone will try to bid higher. "No, no more bids? Sold to the gentlemen with the feathered hat!"

All Arthur could think as he goes up to pay for his new slave is, how the hell he was going to turn this girl into a pirate?

Readers POV~

You shiver as your new master walks up and pays the auctioneer. You wonder what he will be like as he leads you away from the market place. As he takes you aboard a giant ship, one you expect belongs to him, a man comes running up to both of you.

"Captain Kirkland!...You bought a slave?" He has a confused look
"You dare question my decisions? Remember your place!" The blonde man then looks at you "Umm…what is your name?" The tone of his voice is softer towards you then it was for his first mate

"My name's _____."

"_____ (Name) belongs to me. I am taking her to my quarters do not disturb us."

"Yes, captain," the first mate says and goes back to work.  

And with that, Arthur takes you to the captain's quarters. "Come here," he orders. You give a slight nod and walk over to him expecting him to do the worst to you. He unlocks your chains, and gently takes off your clothes. You can feel the heat of his stare, as emerald green eyes look your body up and down, examining it. "Your other master must have beat you hard, love," he says as he gently traces his long slim fingers over a few of your many scars, some were old and others fairly new. All you can manage to do is give a slight nod as a hot shiver runs through your body each time he touches a different scare. His gaze moves back up your body and then stops, staring straight into your (e/c) eyes. "Well, ____ I might be a bloody pirate, but I'm also a gentlemen. You don't have to worry. As long as you behave and obey me I won't hurt you." At first you are not sure if you should trust him, not like it would matter, but after he flashes you a smile it is clear he means what he says and for the first time in a long time you aren't scared.

"Yes, master."

He gives out a soft sigh and shakes his head, "My name is Arthur Kirkland. You will call me Captain."

There is something about this man that makes you feel safe, even if you can't place your finger on it. You reply, "Yes, Captain…"
